Vote Tuesday, November 4th!

Laura Holder is running for the Marietta School Board to be a strong advocate for the families and community of Ward 2.
A proud Marietta native, Laura is deeply invested in the community that shaped her. As a graduate of West Side Elementary, Marietta Middle, and Marietta High School (Class of 2004), she knows first hand the impact of a strong local education. Now, with two children attending A.L. Burruss Elementary and one in preschool, Laura’s connection to the district runs deep. She understands the challenges and opportunities within the school system because she’s experienced them herself—as a student, a parent, and a dedicated advocate for Marietta’s schools.
Laura is currently serving in her third consecutive year as an elected parent representative of the Burruss School Governance Team. She has also recently served two years as secretary on the Marietta City Schools district-wide PTA.
She and her family are active members at Christ the Redeemer Church, where she serves in the children’s ministry.
